An intimate Cotswold wedding …

Offering a pre-wedding shoot as part of my wedding package, means that I get to spend some quality time with my couples before their wedding day and I knew that this particular couple, was going to have the most beautiful Cotswold wedding. Sarah and Viv have such a dynamic energy and a truly obvious love for each other. They are both sweet and funny and just so lovely to be around. Our pre-wedding shoot was super easy, relaxed and we got some gorgeous photos. They are such a beautiful couple and I was really looking forward to seeing them both ‘dressed up’ on their wedding day:)  Here are a few images selected from the pre-wedding shoot gallery…

Ceremony at the Swindon Registry Office …

Sarah arrived with her dad looking absolutely breathtakingly beautiful in her Maggie Sottero wedding gown. Words cannot really do her justice, so in this case i really and truly hope my photos speak for themselves. Viv looked really handsome (and only slightly nervous) as he waited for his bride. I must say the Swindon Registry Office has the most lovely skylight which bathed the couple in some truly beautiful natural light. Once the “i do’s” had been said and the couple was announced as husband and wife, we moved outside for a few family shots in the pretty gardens.

Reception at the Corinium Hotel, Cirencester …

The reception took place at the Corinium Hotel in Cirencester. The Corinium Hotel  is a grade 2 listed Hotel and Restaurant and is located in one of the oldest and prettiest streets in Cirencester. The hotel has a lovely outside area laid to lawn and this looked so welcoming on such a warm and sunny day. The bride and groom arrived and spent some time chatting to guests and having a few family photos taken. I then spent 30 minutes with them photographing their bride and groom portrait shots….WOW…is all I can say about those. Sarah, my word, such a beautiful bride and Viv just looked absolutely in awe of her. I was too , to be honest! We spent a few minutes around the hotel and in the very pretty street that the hotel is located on. I chose a mix of Cotswold stonework, cobbled streets and pretty doors as the back drop to their photos…and I just loved the result :)

The rest of the wedding day flowed beautifully with funny heartwarming speeches and lots of love all around. I wish Sarah and Viv the very best that life has to offer :)
