A summer Hare and Hounds wedding …

So Megan and Alan have a tangible love and chemistry with each other which was  truly evident at their pre-wedding shoot and their stunning Hare and Hounds wedding in August of 2017.  As with all my couples, we met first over a cup of coffee in Cirencester and then I got to know them a little better during the pre-wedding shoot which was a lot of fun :)

I had been wanting to shoot a Hare and Hounds wedding for sometime as the Hare and Hounds in Tetbury is part of the Cotswold Inns group of Hotels, of which I have photographed at a few of their venues  and they are all gorgeous. The Hare and Hounds in Tetbury is no different as it’s a magnificent country house filled with a chic and elegant charm and stunning grounds.  I was really fortunate to be working alongside the very creative and talented team at Lucky Feather Wedding Films who were providing the wedding videography for Alan and Meagan.  I really enjoy working with videographers, in particular Lucky Feather Wedding Films, as I enjoy the creativity  it breeds when working with other professionals.

The day started with a buzzing bridal prep as not only was the bride getting ready, but so was a gaggle (is it called that? If not, it should be ☺️ ) of teenage girls and a teenage boy.

THE I DO’S …

Alan looked really handsome whilst he waited nervously with his best man for the arrival of the bride.  Meagan walked down the aisle on the arm of her father and the happy couple were married a short while later.  A gorgeous ceremony in such a lovely setting.

BRIDE AND GROOM PORTRAIT SHOTS …

After the ceremony it was time for canapes and drinks on the lawn whilst I whizzed through the formal photos before taking Megan and Alan off for a few minutes of  bride and groom portraits.

TIME FOR SPEECHES …

The reception for this Hare and Hounds wedding was simply stunning. Set in an absolutely beautiful room with fairy lights strung from the ceiling making it just so very pretty. The speeches are always entertaining and emotional to listen to, but on this occasion the bride spoke ,which i always love hearing as it does not happen often. Megan’s speech was sentimental, sweet and funny and I’m sure her and Alan will be very happy together.
