KINGSCOTE BARN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – A SPRING WEDDING WITH SHOWERS!

Being a recommended Kingscote Barn wedding photographer, I’m fortunate to shoot a lot of gorgeous weddings at this beautiful Cotswold wedding venue. Kingscote Barn is situated near Tetbury, and has the most breath-taking views of the countryside below.

Chloe and Andrew had initially arranged to have an outdoor wedding ceremony, but due to the ‘great British weather’ they had to move their ceremony indoors. The great thing about Kingscote Barn, is that indoors or out, both ceremony areas are very beautiful. Chloe and Andrew had a bespoke arch built for their outdoor ceremony, so we made sure that we did their confetti photos using the arch once the weather had cleared up.

I loved seeing the Scottish element with Andrew’s side of the family and i thought the kilts and traditional Scottish garb looked so smart. Andrew waited patiently at the top of aisle for Chloe who walked down the aisle on her Father’s arm. Always a very special moment for father’s to share with their daughters. After the ceremony, the weather was a little clearer so I took Chloe and Andrew for a very relaxed walk around Kingscote Barn. I love seeing the sheep! Each and every time i go there, the sheep just melt my heart! Chloe and Andrew’s little dog also made a brief appearance for photos!

The reception room looked so beautiful..amidst it’s warm wooden beams and candlelight glow, it had the perfect ambience. After speeches and the meal, it was time for cake cutting and dancing. Chloe and Andrew had chosen a Ceilidh band which is always enormous fun to photograph. I love how everyone starts off a little awkward, not knowing what to do, and within a few minutes, the dancefloor is a happy mix of chaotic fun. I love a Ceilidh band !

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!

“Tanli Joy took such fantastic photos at our wedding! We absolutely love them. They really captured the feeling and fun of the day! There are so many special moments and we love our couples photos.

13 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KINGSCOTE BARN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Gloucestershire wedding photographer

WHAT IS MY STYLE?

My shooting style produces natural flattering images that never look posed or forced. I love for personalities to shine through in my images and I strive to capture moments that are candid and emotive. So, you will get a beautiful mix of flattering portraits combined with documentary shooting.

My editing style is the ‘look’ you see on my web site . I like to stay true to the colours on the day but give them extra ‘pop’ and life in the editing process. Editing styles or trends, such as turning everything a little ‘orange’ or ‘desaturating the greens’ will date over the years and images can become ‘stale’ when edited in that manner (just think about all those instagram filters that go in and out of ‘fashion’). If you’ve spent many hours choosing a specific pink for your flowers or spent hours choosing suits of a certain colour, then I will stay true to that in my edit.
