Old Gore is one of the Cotswolds' most distinctive wedding venues, combining beautifully restored barns, stylish interiors and far-reaching countryside views. It's a venue that feels relaxed and contemporary while still retaining plenty of rural character, making it a wonderful setting for couples planning an informal celebration surrounded by family and friends.

Lapstone Barn is the most beautiful 18th century renovated barn just a hop and a skip away from the charming town of Chipping Campden. I love shooting at Lapstone Barn, and have been fortunate enough to shoot a few weddings there recently. I love seeing how the barn is decorated, and each and every time I go there, I find myself standing in the middle of the ceremony room in awe of how incredibly beautiful it always looks.

Tom and Jess ended their ceremony with another unique tradition called 'jumping the broom' which  entails a couple jumping over a broom to demonstrate their union.

Jess' bridal prep was a buzz of bridesmaids getting ready...balloons, glitzy dresses and fur wraps littered the room amidst the champagne that was freely flowing.

Hyde House is such a lovely wedding venue to photograph, with its beautiful countryside setting, historic buildings and light-filled spaces. There are so many different areas to use throughout the day, which means the photographs can feel varied and natural without having to spend lots of time moving around.

This wedding was on its second postponement date due to Covid and numbers were restricted to 30, but there was no lack of atmosphere and joy at this lovely wedding. I have thoroughly loved all the smaller 'micro weddings' or Covid secure weddings, and it's wonderful to spend the day capturing the moments between a smaller group of  guests.

Dating back to the 18th Century, The Swan Hotel Bibury wedding venue, sits on the banks of the River Coln, in the gorgeous Cotswold village of Bibury. The Swan Hotel is also only a 10 minute drive from my house in Cirencester! I had done a pre wedding shoot for Rachel and Joel, so by the time wedding arrived, I knew them pretty well. A pre wedding shoot does help enormously for those couples that want to prepare a little before the big day and are nervous about being in front of the camera.
