A summer Manor House wedding …
The Manor House wedding venue in Moreton-in-Marsh, is one of my absolute favourite places to shoot. The buildings and grounds are stunning, with the beautiful church in the background and the storybook gardens, its the perfect place to have a wedding and to shoot a wedding. I also have to say that the light is always beautiful at this venue , it peaks over the buildings and because of the pretty honey coloured stone, the light that bounces around is just so soft and warm and beautiful to photograph in.
I first met Hannah and Mark on a pre-wedding shoot, as I include this as a complimentary part of my wedding package. Their shoot was awesome. They are a lovely couple , very much in love and just perfect for each other. We had beautiful light on the day of their pre-wedding shoot and their photos are gorgeous. These are Hannah’s sweet words after working with me,
“Tanli was a complete star throughout our entire time together, since our initial contact she has always responded quickly and thoroughly to any query I may have had. At our pre-shoot she put us totally at ease and at our wedding felt more like a guest and friend. We have loved all of our pictures and felt that Tanli truly captured the essence of our day and us as a couple, thanks to her we have snapshots of memories we will treasure forever, I would not hesitate to recommend xxx“
Perfect weather for the perfect outdoor Cotswold wedding ….
I started my day photographing Hannah getting ready (bridal prep) and it was really relaxed and easy. One of the moments that Hannah was particularly wanting me to capture was the moment her father walked in and saw her in her wedding dress. It was a gorgeous moment to shoot, but there were so many moments throughout this wedding that were emotional and sentimental. Mark cried a lot, which i absolutely and totally love, give me an emotional groom any day and I’m so happy. The more tears the better (in a good way of course).
Off to see the groom …
I always enjoy it when the groom is at the venue early and around whilst I’m photographing the bride getting ready. It means i can pop out and see what he’s up to (he’s normally at the bar :) ) and get a few candid photographs of him before going back up to the bride. The bar area at the Manor House is gorgeous, so full of warmth and character.
An outdoor wedding ceremony …
Its a privilege in England to have an outdoor wedding ceremony and also to have such perfect weather for it. The outside space at the Manor House is simply stunning and just the most perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. Hannah arrived on her Father’s arm. And Mark cried. And cried. ….and I LOVED IT! I do love the way he looked at Hannah at many times during the day :) The ceremony was simply perfect!
Bride and Groom wedding portraits…
Certainly a big part of the day for any wedding photographer, is the bride and groom portrait shots. I like to keep things really relaxed and I strive to capture happy portraits that show your connection to each other. I stay away from awkward and unnatural poses and I really want your photographs to reflect you as a couple, and not overly contrived stiff poses. You can hopefully see what I mean with the below portraits which i think show a happy relaxed couple very much in love.
Ah speeches….(when it’s time for the best man to be nervous!) followed by the wedding breakfast and onto first dance. All in all a glorious summer Manor House wedding for Hannah and Mark and one of my favourite Cotswold wedding venues to shoot at.
