I love being a recommended supplier at Oxleaze Barn as i really and truly do love the venue and all it has to offer. I’ve photographed numerous Oxleaze Barn weddings, and every single one has been so thoroughly enjoyable . This Oxleaze Barn spring wedding was no different and it was a lovely warm day with lots of sunshine!  I first met Tim and Eleri over a coffee in Fairford and then did a gorgeous Autumn pre wedding shoot with them. By the time wedding day rolled around, they were comfortable in front of the camera and we had a lovely easy rapport with each other. Eleri got ready just a few  miles down the road from Oxleaze Barn, at the very lovely  Upton Downs Farmhouse near Burford.  This was just a short drive from Oxleaze.

Oxleaze was looking particularly beautiful on this April day as the rape seed fields were out in their full yellow splendour. I arrived at Oxleaze Barn just before the guests which gave me time to shoot the guest arrivals and of course, the arrival of Tim, the groom.  Oxleaze Barn looked stunning as always and as a recommended supplier, and shooting there fairly often, its always amazing to see how the barn gets decorated.  Flowers were supplied by the Petal Shed .  Eleri looked stunning walking down the aisle and after a lovely ceremony, theses two were happily married and proceeded down the confetti ‘tunnel’. The confetti tunnel always looks amazing,  and i think it’s because of the big wooden and glass doors that the couple walk out through.  Groups shots were done on the driveway as it was just too bright and sunny to use the lawns of the barn. Not something that is said very often in England, but this was definitely a very bright April’s day. Oxleaze offers a gorgeous spacious area for the  wedding breakfast and reception part of the day and the guests got ready to enjoy the food and the speeches. Once the sun was a little lower in the sky, i took Tim and Eleri down the road for a little walk in the rape seed fields. It was a lovely magical time, the warmth of the yellow flowers and the golden sun….has to be one of my most favourite times of the day to shoot. The evening entertainment was the fabulous Shadow Monkeys who got everyone on the dance floor.

Another magical Oxleaze Barn wedding and I’m so looking forward to being back for many more : )
