This was my first Oxleaze Barn wedding and what a dream wedding venue it is.  Oxleaze Barn wedding venue is located in the heart of the Cotswolds on the Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire border and it has a rustic charm with a stunning lake, old barn buildings and lots farm animals.  I actually photographed this wedding  on the day that Storm Brian ripped through the UK, hence I have lots of gorgeous ‘windblown’ shots. I first met Paul and Helen on their pre-wedding shoot , so by the time wedding day rolled around, we had a lovely rapor with each other and they felt more like friends than ‘bride and groom’.  All the guests arrived by coach and were almost blown away as they set foot on the ground but this did not dampen spirits in the slightest.  The barn looked gorgeous set for the ceremony and Helen walked down the aisle accompanied by her two sons.  A short while later the happy pair were married and the celebrations began.  We managed to get all the lovely family portraits done outside as well as the bride an groom portraits, before Storm Brian arrived in full swing.  Once the guests were settled and cozy in the barn, the reception began with delicious food served and then onto speeches a short while later. The big surprise of the night, was the incredibly choreographed dance that Helen arranged for a ‘seated’ Paul much to his amazement and surprise.  It was great fun to see this and something I will always remember. I’m sure Paul will too :) Enjoy my lovely photos and if you are planning on an Oxleaze Barn wedding, then I would love to hear from you.

An absolutely gorgeous Oxleaze Barn wedding and now that i’m a recommend supplier of their, I hope to be back there soon.
