CASWELL HOUSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – A COSY WINTER WEDDING

It’s such a privilege to be a Caswell House wedding photographer and shooting at this incredible venue. Caswell House is just ‘picture perfect’ with it’s absolutely beautiful breath taking grounds and Cotswold stone buildings. Located near Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, Caswell House wedding venue, is a unique and beautiful venue and is exclusively yours for your wedding day. Dating back to the 15th Century this is a place steeped in history, and holds a captivating beauty all of its own, with original honey coloured Cotswold Stone Buildings, an Ancient Orchard, and sumptuous, elegantly styled bedrooms for those who wish to stay. Caswell House weddings are always a pleasure to shoot, and I just love coming back to this Cotswold Barn venue time and time again.

Lydia and Daniel’s day was brilliant from start to finish. The ceremony room at Caswell House looked so beautiful, like a postcard, with its fairly lights and vibrant florals and the honey coloured stone walls. Lydia looked gorgeous walking down the aisle and I love the shot of Daniel sitting next to her, taking in how beautiful she looked. I did Lydia and Daniel’s ‘couple time’ photos in the gorgeous private walled garden. In winter the light is lower a bit earlier, so the timing for their photos in the early afternoon was perfect.

The reception room looked incredible when turned around after the ceremony. After the meal, it was time for the party. I managed to sneak Lydia and Daniel out for a few minutes to take some sunset shots and a gorgeous photo of them out side the entrance to Caswell House. All in all, another absolutely fabulous Caswell House winter wedding.

what is my style?

My shooting style produces natural flattering images that never look posed or forced. I love for personalities to shine through in my images and I strive to capture moments that are candid and emotive. So, you will get a beautiful mix of flattering portraits combined with documentary shooting.

My editing style is the ‘look’ you see on my web site . I like to stay true to the colours on the day but give them extra ‘pop’ and life in the editing process. Editing styles or trends, such as turning everything a little ‘orange’ or ‘desaturating the greens’ will date over the years and images can become ‘stale’ when edited in that manner (just think about all those instagram filters that go in and out of ‘fashion’). If you’ve spent many hours choosing a specific pink for your flowers or spent hours choosing suits of a certain colour, then I will stay true to that in my edit.
