COTSWOLDS PRE WEDDING SHOOT
LET’S GET TOGETHER
AND MAKE MEMORIES
BANISH THE WEDDING DAY NERVES…
My Cotswolds pre wedding shoot is a unique experience. I’ve had many an anxious groom arrive and tell me he ‘hates having his photo taken’ and has reluctantly agreed to ‘this pre wedding shoot’ and has envisioned an awkward and tortuous experience ahead, only to be told an hour later that ‘it was so much more fun and so much easier than he thought it was going to be”. I’ve had a few couples even mention that the pre wed was MORE enjoyable than going on a date together !
UNPOSED NATURAL PHOTOS…
The secret to my pre wedding shoot is… NO POSING AT ALL. No awkward cheesy poses where you will look back at your ‘pretty ‘ photos and remember how uncomfortable you felt at the time. They are easy and relaxed and I ask you to interact with each other in a natural way, encouraging your individual personalities to shine through. No posing. And I’ve got a 100% success rate of taking couples that are very anxious about the camera and turning them into couples that thoroughly loved the session and are in love , not only with their photos, but with the process of making them.
YOUR COTSWOLDS PRE WEDDING SHOOT
QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Where does the pre wed shoot take place?
Ideally, in my home town, Cirencester, Gloucestershire. The reason for this, is that I book so many during the year and coupled with shooting weddings, I just cannot fit them in if I have to travel for them. Cirencester is a gorgeous market town and combining your prewedding shoot with a delicious lunch in the town, makes for a great day out.
How long is the shoot?
Around 1 1/2 hours or so. We walk, we talk, look for great light to shoot in and it’s really really easy:)
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! Absolutely!
Can we bring our kids?
I would suggest booking a family shoot in this scenario as the pre wedding shoot is very much focused on the ‘two of you’. A family shoot is more suitable if you bring children along as its duration is a little longer and is ‘play based’, which is my shooting method when photographing children. Please visit my family photography web site to see more info on my family shoots.
How close to our wedding should we have the shoot?
About 6 months or so. I love to shoot the pre wedding shoot in a season that is different to your wedding day. So an Autumn pre wedding shoot is great for couples having a Spring or Summer wedding and a Summer pre wed shoot great for those having a Winter wedding. This just adds a nice variety to your collection of images.
What is the cost of the pre wedding shoot?
My pre wedding shoot is priced at £250 if booked with a wedding package, and £300 if booked on it’s own. You will receive the digital images (approx. 60 images) via a secure and very chic online gallery. The images are high resolution, not watermarked and print ready. Many couples use their pre wedding photos for signing boards at their wedding or table placement decoration.
READY TO BOOK A PRE WED SHOOT?
The Cotswolds pre wedding shoot is a hugely positive experience for all my couples and really does help them to relax in front of the camera and be ‘themselves’. I do also give you lots of valuable little tips and tricks in the shoot that become very helpful on wedding day too. It also gives us a chance to meet each other and build that lovely rapport that makes it easy for you to feel comfortable around me and be yourselves on wedding day.
