EGYPT MILL NAILSWORTH WEDDING

The Egypt Mill Nailsworth wedding venue is just so unique and so very very pretty. The 16th Century converted corn mill is located in the bustling Cotswold town of Nailsworth in Gloucestershire and is situated on the banks of the River Frome. This thoughtfully restored corn mill, with its scenic riverside location, is the epitome of all that Gloucestershire has to offer yet only a short drive away from the cities of Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham .

I was fortunate to be back at this gorgeous Nailsworth wedding venue, to photograph Emily and Dave’s wedding. I had met Emily and Dave already as i had photographed a pre -wedding shoot for them so we had a lovely rapport between us already. The day started with bridal prep with Emily and her bridesmaids getting ready in one the very charming and quirky rooms at the Egypt Mill. I also had time to pop over to Dave and spend a few fun moments with him and his parents whilst he got ready. Its always great when grooms are getting ready at the same location as the bride, as you get to photograph both of them quite easily.

The ceremony room at the Egypt Mill is absolutely charming and gorgeous with its low wooden beams and fairy lights making the entire room just glow with a romantic light. Emily and Dave were married a short while later and we moved to the gardens to enjoy the lovely weather and do a few photographs. After that, the guests moved back indoors for the wedding breakfast which was followed with drinks and mingling and then cutting of the cake and the first dance. We ended the evening with a spectacular ‘sparkler exit‘ shot and I just absolutely love these sorts of photographs…very much ‘non posed’, fun and in the moment , surrounded by the warm glow of the sparklers……just beautiful!
