A Summer wedding at the Kingscote Barn Wedding venue …
The Kingscote Barn wedding venue in Tetbury, has to be one of my favourite Cotswold wedding venues. The venue is gorgeous and offers everything that a bride could want with a lovely ‘getting ready’ space, stunning ceremony area (indoors or out) and lovely lawns with breath-taking views of the countryside below. Oh and it has sheep…lots of sheep that are too sweet for words!
Hannah and Dan’s relaxed family summer wedding at Kingscote Barn was everything I thought it would be and more. Is there anything nicer than an outdoor wedding ceremony in the Summer? When the British weather behaves, it does so impeccably and the sun really did shine on Hannah and Dan’s wedding day.
When I arrived at Kingscote in the morning, and drove down the drive way, I was thrilled to see the beautiful wheat fields swaying in the breeze. I love a wheat field due to the gorgeous neutral colours, especially at golden hour…..however, that afternoon when it was time for the couple portrait photos, we drove back up the drive to the wheat field………….AND..IT HAD BEEN CUT..that very day! Anyway, the light was too beautiful, warm and low and golden and the round bales actually made for a nice change. I love how these photos turned out. My aim with couple portrait photos is to let couples interact naturally and to capture emotive and authentic moments. Nothing awkward or forced.
SPEECHLESS
Wow! We have just received our wedding photographs from Tanli and we are both utterly speechless! They are everything that we hoped for and so much more!
Every detail that we had planned for our wedding is perfectly captured in all of our images. The colours, signs and emotion of the day all came flooding back and we have these amazing memories to look back at for many years to come.
Tanli is so talented at what she does and we cannot thank her enough!

13 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR KINGSCOTE BARN WEDDING VENUE PHOTOGRAPHER
WHAT IS MY STYLE?
My shooting style produces natural flattering images that never look posed or forced. I love for personalities to shine through in my images and I strive to capture moments that are candid and emotive. So, you will get a beautiful mix of flattering portraits combined with documentary shooting.
My editing style is the ‘look’ you see on my web site. I like to stay true to the colours on the day but give them extra ‘pop’ and life in the editing process (before / after example). Editing styles or trends, such as turning everything a little ‘orange’ or ‘desaturating the greens’ will date over the years and images can become ‘stale’ when edited in that manner (just think about all those instagram filters that go in and out of ‘fashion’). If you’ve spent many hours choosing a specific pink for your flowers or spent hours choosing suits of a certain colour, then I will stay true to that in my edit.
