As a Kings Head Hotel Cirencester wedding photographer, I love photographing weddings at this beautiful Cotswolds venue. The Kings Head Hotel is one of those places that proves you don’t need a countryside estate to have a beautiful wedding day. Right in the heart of Cirencester, this elegant boutique hotel combines historic character with stylish modern spaces, making it a wonderful choice for couples wanting a relaxed celebration with everything in one place.

Being a local Cirencester wedding photographer, I didn’t have to travel far for Abi and Joe’s wedding, in fact, I walked to it as the Kings Head Hotel is a 5 minute walk from my house! Abi and Joe both got ready at the Kings Head, so I was able to capture both bridal and groom prep, which is always great. The ceremony room looked so beautiful, this boutique hotel never fails to amaze me at how stunning it can look!

Abi and Joe’s ceremony followed by the ‘always fun’, confetti shot, went off smoothly. I did the group shots on the lovely terrace area and then took Abi and Joe off for a little walk for their ‘couple time’ photos. I keep this part of the day super relaxed and easy for couples. We just walk, and i encourage you to interact with each other and I shoot..in good light! Easy:)

After Abi and Joe were warmly welcomed back to their reception, I photographed their speeches and then left them alone to enjoy their meal. After the meal, the wedding party moved to the downstairs vaulted cellar where Abi and Joe cut their amazing cake and had their first dance. Ended the night off with a gorgeous shot of the two of them on the outside terrace under the festoon lighting. Another beautiful Kings Head Hotel Cirencester wedding, so close to home:)

BLOWN AWAY!

“We have just spent the evening looking through the wonderful photos Tanli captured of our wedding day and we are blown away by them. It felt like we were reliving the day all over again. It brought back so many emotions. It was so lovely to see photos of our guests and see them enjoying the day as much as we did.
We are both not very confident in front of the camera and Tanli really helped us to relax and produced some really natural couple shots. We have been waiting to have lots of lovely photos for our home, and now we are going to struggle to pick which ones!

WHAT IS MY STYLE?

My shooting style produces natural flattering images that never look posed or forced. I love for personalities to shine through in my images and I strive to capture moments that are candid and emotive. So, you will get a beautiful mix of flattering portraits combined with documentary shooting.

My editing style is the ‘look’ you see on my web site . I like to stay true to the colours on the day but give them extra ‘pop’ and life in the editing process. Editing styles or trends, such as turning everything a little ‘orange’ or ‘desaturating the greens’ will date over the years and images can become ‘stale’ when edited in that manner (just think about all those instagram filters that go in and out of ‘fashion’). If you’ve spent many hours choosing a specific pink for your flowers or spent hours choosing suits of a certain colour, then I will stay true to that in my edit.
