SO MUCH PERSONALITY!
We were so happy to have Tanli as our wedding photographer! She is such a pro and really lovely person. She took the most gorgeous photos and helped to make our day run smoothly. I’m nervous in front of cameras and Tanli made me feel so at ease the whole day. We’ve just had our photos delivered and have looked through them many (many!) times. She captured our day beautifully. The photos have so much personality and joy. Absolutely over the moon with them!

Our wedding at Oxleaze Barn in April was beautifully captured by Tanli. Before, during, and after the wedding she was incredibly accommodating, making sure every detail was perfect. BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS!
Thank you Tanli for the gorgeous shots of our Cotswolds wedding weekend! We love the mix of ‘reportage’ style photos of our close friends and family enjoying themselves, and the more formal group pictures. As a couple who aren’t huge fans of being photographed, Tanli made us feel really at ease throughout the day. Oh my. How can words even express how beautiful Tanli’s photos are of my wedding. I am on cloud 9 – so happy upon receiving I couldn’t sleep!!
Tanli has been fabulous throughout the whole process. Right from the first meeting with her when searching for a wedding photographer we’ve loved her relaxed style, always making us feel at ease. And that carried through to the wedding day – when she was excellent at organising everyone and getting the photos formal taken (in between periods of heavy rain!) and at keeping us relaxed and natural for the stunning photos of the two of us. Then throughout the day and evening she has captured the most stunning candid shots of our wedding. I love every single one.

BLOWN AWAY!
We have just spent the evening looking through the wonderful photos Tanli captured of our wedding day and we are blown away by them. It felt like we were reliving the day all over again. It brought back so many emotions. It was so lovely to see photos of our guests and see them enjoying the day as much as we did.
We are both not very confident in front of the camera and Tanli really helped us to relax and produced some really natural couple shots. We have been waiting to have lots of lovely photos for our home, and now we are going to struggle to pick which ones!

Before the wedding, she was on hand to answer any questions we had and helped us finalise the timeline of our day, making sure to fit in all key wedding photos whilst also getting couple ones before it got dark at 4pm (December) . Reportage wedding photography, also known as documentary or photojournalistic wedding photography, focuses on capturing candid and spontaneous moments throughout the wedding day. This style emphasizes storytelling, aiming to narrate the events as they unfold naturally, without intervention or posing. These natural, candid and emotive images make up the bulk of your wedding gallery and I think most modern contemporary wedding photographers shoot in this manner.

We had Tanli as our photographer in September 2021 in the Cotswolds. Her engagement, professionalism and responsiveness was amazing from the offset – scheduling in calls and emailing back and forth prior to the wedding to ensure she understood what we were looking for and that everything was ready for the big day.

SO ENTHUSIASTIC!
WOW!! We got married in August and we cannot stop looking at our photos, we LOVE them and are sooo happy we found Tanli. She works so hard to get those perfect shots and was so enthusiastic even when it poured down for us!! JUST BRILLIANT!
Tanli photographed our wedding at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester just a few days before the UK went into lockdown.
Having previously had our pre-wedding shoot with Tanli and loving those photos we were so excited for her to join us and capture our special day. Neither of us particularly like having our photo taken and so the pre-wedding shoot was really helpful as we got to meet Tanli, feel at ease and get some guidance about how she’d shoot on our big day.
Tanli was a joy to work with in the build up to the wedding and was just brilliant on the day. She made us & all of our guests feel at ease and captured the most special and precious moments for us.
Receiving our photos back brought tears to our eyes. Tanli did such a great job capturing the mood of our wedding and we’ve not been able to stop looking at our photos since. It is maybe a bit cliché for most bride & grooms to be biased about their photos but what has struck us was all of our guests who we’ve shared the photos with have commented on how amazing they are and what a talent Tanli is!

13 GREAT QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
WHAT IS
MY STYLE?
My shooting style is very relaxed and produces natural flattering images that never look posed or forced. I love for personalities to shine through in my images and I strive to capture moments that are candid and emotive. So, you will get a beautiful mix of flattering portraits combined with documentary shooting.
My editing style is the ‘look’ you see on my web site. I like to stay true to the colours on the day but give them extra ‘pop’ and life in the editing process. Editing styles or trends, such as turning everything a little ‘orange’ or ‘desaturating the greens’ will date over the years and images can become ‘stale’ when edited in that manner (just think about all those instagram filters that go in and out of ‘fashion’). If you’ve spent many hours choosing a specific pink for your flowers or spent hours choosing suits of a certain colour, then I will stay true to that in my edit.
