A HYDE BARN SUMMER WEDDING

I absolutely love shooting a Hyde Barn summer wedding. It is a truly magical Cotswold wedding venue with so much to offer from it’s light and airy bridal prep room, to the exquisite ‘Grange’ for the ceremony, to the breath-taking grounds that have some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.

Bridal prep is in such a beautiful room with such lovely light, and it was a great atmosphere in there whilst Claire was getting ready. Claire’s dress was truly beautiful, like a fairy tale! The ceremony was held in Hyde Barn’s beautiful ‘Grange’…the light in there is fantastic and my favourite registrar did the ceremony; she always gets my couples laughing. After the ceremony, I let the happy couple mingle for a bit before I took them off for a bit of time on their own for their couple photos. The reception room looked incredibly ‘pretty in pink’…just look at those gorgeous pink lanterns!

A Hyde Barn summer wedding would not be complete without all the lawn games out in the sunshine. Hyde Barn has a really lovely outdoor space, and guests love spending time out here. The lovely summer’s day was drawing to an end bringing such beautiful golden light with it. This is my favourite time of the day to do couple photos, so Claire and Will headed out with me for a relaxed stroll and I just love the light in these beautiful photos.
