AN OUTDOOR OXLEAZE BARN WEDDING

Rachel and Chris’ outdoor wedding ceremony at Oxleaze Barn was a beautiful summer celebration, with a sunny outdoor courtyard ceremony and the relaxed, natural atmosphere that makes this Cotswold barn venue so special.

They chose to get married outside, and thankfully the weather played its part, with sunshine lasting throughout the day. After the ceremony and confetti celebrations, I left everyone to enjoy drinks, conversation and the beautiful surroundings at Oxleaze Barn.

Usually, this is when I would take my couples away for their portraits, but with the sun still high and very bright, we decided to wait until later in the afternoon when the light became softer. It turned out to be the perfect decision. The warm, golden light created some of my favourite portraits of Rachel and Chris, with the beautiful glow of the afternoon sun behind them.

The rest of the day flowed effortlessly, from heartfelt speeches to an incredible evening of dancing. Tux Fizz Band brought the party to life and had everyone on the dance floor enjoying the celebrations.

Oxleaze Barn is always a joy to photograph. Every wedding here has its own personality, and I love seeing how each couple makes the space their own. It feels a little like a home away from home. Every wedding has a completely different feel, and I love seeing the creativity that goes into the details and styling.
