Bay Tree, Burford wedding venue …

The Bay Tree wedding venue in Burford is perfect for small intimate weddings and the charming hotel is available for exclusive-use hire, including a wonderful collection of beautifully designed reception rooms, 21 bespoke bedrooms and an exquisite walled garden in all its bloom. Jess and Lewis’ Bay Tree Burford wedding was absolutely perfect from beginning to end, with Jess getting ready in the Oak suite and the wedding taking place in the conservatory out in the beautiful garden.  It was a glorious sunny day for this beautiful Bay Tree wedding and it was truly a pleasure to spend the day with such a lovely group of people. Smaller weddings are an absolute pleasure to shoot and i love the intimate feel they have to the day and I always leave feeling like I have been very much a ‘part of the celebration’.  The Bay Tree really lends itself to this sort of bespoke wedding and it has a  very ‘cosy’ self contained feel. After the ceremony, we lined everybody up for the confetti shot which is always a ‘beaut to shoot’. After that, I whizzed through the family group photos, keeping them relaxed and easy. These photos do become very treasured over over the years and I realise how important they are to you.  Once the family photos were done, and the guests were mingling, I took Jess and Lewis out for some ‘couple time’ and got some really lovely photos of the two of them around the grounds of the hotel as well as on the beautiful streets of Burford. Shortly after this, they were called in to sit down for the reception dinner and speeches were soon underway. This was a short wedding day for me, and I left after speeches before the guests started enjoying their meal.

As always, a pleasure to shoot at the Bay Tree in Burford.  It is such a unique venue with its historical charm coupled with the contemporary feel. I’m looking for ward to being back for more weddings in 2020.
