KINGS HEAD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – A ‘WOW’ WINTER WEDDING
As a Kings Head wedding photographer on the recommended supplier list, I get to shoot at this lovely venue throughout the year in all the seasons. So, what an absolute delight to shoot a Kings Head winter wedding only 2 weeks before Christmas. Jess’ bridal prep was a buzz of bridesmaids getting ready…balloons, glitzy dresses and fur wraps littered the room amidst the champagne that was freely flowing.
The reception room looked spectacular as Shaun waited at the top of the aisle for jess. There were many moments where I looked over at him and he was wiping tears away and it was truly lovely to see such an emotional groom. I especially love the shot of Shaun wiping his tears away as Jess arrives in front of him. A beautiful moment to witness. After the nerves of the ‘i do’s’ and a fabulous ‘confetti walk’ down the aisle, Shaun and Jess could really let their hair down and enjoy the rest of their day.
The weather was threatening to rain at any moment, so i did Jess and Shaun’s couple time photos close to the safety of the indoors, and used the very pretty terrace of the Kings Head. I love the ambience that the string lights created.
A KINGS HEAD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS DREAM..THE ICONIC CELLAR!
It was then soon time to head down to the iconic cellar of the Kings Head for the reception meal and speeches. The cellar was beautifully decorated with flowers and candles, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. Tears and laughs proceeded to follow throughout the speeches and they were a lot of fun to shoot and to listen to. After the meal and speeches, I took Jess and Shaun for a quick walk into Cirencester’s Corn Hall for a few photos, before they headed inside for their first dance. Such a gorgeous day spent with this lovely pair.
